| Farrago Poetry comes to the Wells Festival of Literature with a Slam! open to ANY poet. Poets may read or perform a poem on any subject in any style. This year Farrago Slams have been won by poets from 16 to 72 years young. EVERY POET WINS A PRIZE!!! Emcee: John Paul O’Neill. Tickets: £6. The winner of this event will qualify for the Farrago UK SLAM! Poetry Championship Finals to be held in London in December – Europe’s longest running National Slam! |

Farrago were the first group to run a poetry slam in Britain, on 19th February 1994, and are organisers of the longest running slam competition in Europe, the Farrago London SLAM! Poetry Championships. Read some of our history.
